I collaborated with a young Moroccan immigrant living in Brussels on the production. He told me he had dropped out of school. When I asked him why he had dropped out, he did not have a clear answer and there was silence for about a dozen seconds. Meanwhile, his right hand made a repetitive gesture, eventually settling into a specific body language that became his answer to my question. I recall the trajectory of his right hand, and the repetitive movement of his right hand traces back to his memory.

ブリュッセルに住むモロッコ人移民の青年と関わり制作をした。彼は私に学校を中退していることを告げた。そしてなぜ辞めてしまったのかと尋ねると、彼は明確な答えを持っておらず十数秒の沈黙があった。その間彼の右手は、反復運動を繰り返かえし、最後にあるボディーランゲージにたどり着き、彼はそれを答えとした。私は、彼の右手の軌跡を思い出し繰り返す、彼の右手の軌跡は彼の記憶をさかのぼる。
